Nurse Redd: I get a chill down my spine just thinking about it
Plot
A detective and a nun investigate a series of heinous crimes that feel personal, while struggling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers. Ed Laclan’s Mustang is the same color and has the same license plate number as the car in The Italian Job 2WQI332.
Ryan Murphy usually starts off strong with an intriguing story angle, then something gets lost in the sauce
Niece Nash wouldn’t have been my first choice for the lead detective, but somehow it worked for me for a while. It’s understandable that with everything she’s dealing with, she’d find herself spiraling with the plot, but it’s unrealistic that she could continue to work through her condition.
The long scenes of her visiting her husband are unnecessary
When “the incident” comes up, the editing makes me believe she’s dreaming because the dialogue and setting when she meets the nurse feels like a dream sequence. When I see that he’s actually real, that’s what really changed the story for me.
The head nurse makes these scenes very uncomfortable
Episodes 1-2 are good, 3-4 are okay, and 5-6 are terrible. The theory they seem to be trying to get across to us is that the priest is the serial killer.
I don’t know why they need 10 episodes for this mostly filler series
The doctor found near the fire is my pick, and I wish the series would end now. Unfortunately, the crime scenes are the most interesting part of this series and remind me of what our human nature can succumb to: excess and cruelty.
